Welcome to the inaugural Whispurring Hope's Spooktacular 5k.
A fun event for you and your furry family member!*

-Over $600 in cash prizes awarded to overall male/ female winners & top 3 in age groups.
-Costume contest for best dressed Pet & Owner.
*You do not need to bring a pet to participate, however if you do they will need proof of current vaccinations.
The goal of this 5k is to raise funds for Whispurring Hope so we can provide necessary care for lost and unwanted animals.
Located in Dyersville, Whispurring hope is a local no-kill shelter and our mission is to give homeless, hurt and unwanted animals a second chance through our rescue and adoption programs. We do all we can to reunite families with their lost or stolen pets.
WHEN: October 28th 2017
Registration/ packet pickup open at 7:30am and closes 8:45. Race begins at 9:00 am.
WHERE:The Yardarm- 1201 Shiras Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001 - the course will run along the scenic river-walk along the Mississippi.
Registration fees:

Early registration (before September 23rd) $30.

After Sept. 23rd: $35
​
There will be same day registration, however the deadline to guarantee a shirt is October 7th.

Awards: Cash Prizes given to Overall Male & Overall Female.

Under 18- Medals for top 3 boys and girls
18-29: Cash prize for top 3 male and female
30-39:Cash prize for top 3 male and female
40-49:Cash prize for top 3 male and female
50+:Cash prize for top 3 male and female
